This week was super good!!! We were trying to light the world this week and we prayed to be able to do it this certain day. We couldn't think of anything to do for the certain day and then all of a sudden a lady named Sister Crump (who by the way knows Marv and Dianne Pett), called us and was saying her and her 2 kids were super sick! So we gotta get her soup and popsicles and bring them over to give! It was awesome :)      This week we visited a recent convert named Candelario. I love him SO MUCH. I can't even explain it. He is from Guatemala. He was telling us this week that when he lived in Guatemala there was a civil war going on. One day he was walking to work and all of a sudden he saw the military and he started to run as fast as he could away and he ran into this house he found. Well turns out he shouldn't have done that because it was one of the sides of the war. So they held him hostage for 3 days and they beat him and stuff!! CRAZY. Also he said it's a common...

Hello!! Another great week!! I don't think I've had a bad week so far my whole mission so that's a huge blessing.      So first I'll explain what happened this week about being evacuated. On Thursday morning during our district meeting a huge fire started in Fallbrook which borders my area, Oceanside. Our recent convert lives in Fallbrook. So that morning we walked out of the church building after the district meeting and smoke was covering the sky and you could smell it veryyyy strongly. So we were told to stay indoors or use a car if we had to go places, no tracting or anything. Then a few hours later we were told to pack a bag of clothes in case we had to leave. Then a few hours later we were told to pack an actual evacuation bag of a few days and wait for our areas to turn into Mandatory Evacuation Zones. Hiiii!!! This week was super good! and it flew by super fast!      We got the chance to go to the temple on Tuesday and it was awesome. We can't drive our own cars there so we have to ask members to take us. We ended up asking one of my favorite families from my last area so I got to see them which was really fun. The little girl Emma is so cute.      So something that just comes with being a missionary is that almost everyone will just spill out their problems to you and tell you all their trials. Sometimes I feel like a therapist in a way. But I love being trusted. It was so sad because a lady in our ward had us over for dinner and we were just talking like normal and then all of a sudden she just gets really serious and tells us that there is a woman who she had given money to and helped her find a place to live and stuff, and now that lady is trying to steal her husband away from her.
