Hi!! This week was amazing!! Probably the best week in my mission so far, and the next one will be even better!!     On Tuesday we got to go to the San Diego temple! It was so pretty and such a blessing to be able to go. I miss it so much and can't wait to go every week when I get home. It was really funny though because we have to find a ride from a member to be able to go. So we asked this member and then when we got there she goes "So who's going to take you guys home?" and it was super awkward because we had assumed she was going to do it... So then when we got out of the session, we were stranded in San Diego for a while when we waited for another member to come get us.     The next day my companion and I got to go to Oceanside California and do a service project and hand out food to those who are less fortunate I think. We went to help translate too. It was super fun.     I was kinda bummed because 4th of July is my favorite holiday in the whole world...

Hey this week was really good!! All my weeks are really good haha. This week we were teaching english to one of our members and he wants me to learn a song on piano for him to sing to and play it at our ward activity. I don't know how to play piano so we will see how that goes haha. I'm going to try. I have been wanting to learn how to play the piano again anyways so it will be fun.      We had a long week of biking and no one answering their doors but it's okay because I know that everything is in the Lord's timing and if we are doing our part, that's all that matters. It's been getting pretty hot here so we are so sweaty all the time haha.      The other day we had a ward party and it was a dance. It was really fun even though we just got to watch and help out haha. Hey guys!! This week was amazing!! My new companion is the best and we have so much fun! The other day was our ward mission leader's birthday, Hermano Maldenado, so we made him cookies and brought them to him! Their family has 5 kids and they live in a little camping trailer. It's so sad but they are some of the most humble and happy families I have ever seen. So cute. The next day a less active wanted us to come pick up his tithing so we could give it to the bishop on Sunday. When we were leaving his boss came out and started asking us a bunch of questions and he wants us to come by and teach him!      A Hermano from our ward took my companion and I out for lunch. I dared myself to eat a Mussel. It was uncooked and disgustinggggg. My comp spit hers out into the napkin haha. I felt pretty sick that night so I had to come in 30 min early. Hey!! This week was really good! I got a new companion and I love her so much!!! She's from Bolivia. We work hard but we are always laughing and having a good time. We picked up a new investigator this week named Marcos! The only hard thing is he goes to tia juana every weekend to see his family so we might have to pass him over to them since he would probably get baptized in that ward in Mexico. He's super cool though.      The other night while we were teaching Hermana Castillo english, this little mouse kept running across the floor back and forth. It was super funny because the other hermanas were scared of it but he just thought it was funny that they were scared. I love when Hispanics speak english, it's super cute.      We have biked so much this week. Our miles in our car got cut even more so we bike so much but i'm just grateful we even have a car. Hi guys!! This week was really good!! We got transfer calls this Saturday and I will be staying in my area and my new companion will be Hermana Balcazar!! She is from Bolivia and so I'm hoping my Spanish will improve a ton!! She works hard but also likes to have fun so i am really excited!!      We went to Mormon Battalion this week! It's a really cool church historical sight and they tell the story of the Mormon Battalion. The spirit is so strong!!     The other night we were walking and I had a feeling so go stop by Perlas house. I almost ignored it because she was in Utah but then we just decided to go because at least we could just stop by and see her kids. When we knocked, she opened the door!! We were so surprised!
