Last Fast And Testimony Meeting
We had a crazy week as usual. We are seriously so busy every day.
We had to take our car in this week to get the oil changed and stuff and while we were waiting for it to be done we went and studied by the ocean. It was super peaceful.
This week we had exchanges with our Stls and it was funny because I was with Sister Langton, my previous companion for the day. It felt kinda weird honestly but it was fun. We had a bunch of service that day and we got to see some of the people she was close with while she was here.
We had a great 2 lessons with Ben this week. He is still trying to believe in God and so we told him that he needs to start living the commandments and see how his life changes. So we taught him the word of wisdom and the law of chastity and we committed him to live them both for 1 week and see how his life changes. He is doing great so far! He also fasted yesterday. It was super cute bc when anyone would ask him how he was doing he would always answer "Good, but really hungry! Are you hungry?" It was his way of trying to identify with the other ward members by letting them know that he was fasting as well haha.
We had another lesson with Janet this week as well! She is Mario's sister. She told us about her dream about God coming to her and telling her she needed to be baptized and we set a date for July 18th!! We are super excited for her!!!
So there is a recent convert from Oceanside that I taught after he was already baptized. Well he called me up the other day and told me he would be going through the temple to receive his endowment and wanted me to be there! I was so happy. So Saturday morning we went and got to do a session in the temple. It was SO adorable to see him go through and get to experience everything. The temple is the best! AND CONGRATS TO KYLE FOR GOING THROUGH AS WELL!!!! That's awesome man.
Yesterday was my last fast and testimony meeting on my mission so I got up and bore my testimony in the spanish branch. Crazy stuff.
Well I love you all. Thanks for the constant support and prayers. Have a great week.
