Miracles Happen

Hi to all my fans!

Well just so you all know this week has been better and I have felt your prayers. I had a lot of experiences this week where I felt that my Heavenly Father was letting me know He was still there and a lot of experiences where I just felt like I need to accept His will because I'm not here for me, I'm here for Him. It has been a growing experience for sure. This area is kind of slow, we don't really have any solid investigators so we spend most of our time trying to find people to teach. But it's okay, having a slow area has never bothered me too much as long as I'm doing my best I know He will provide people in His own time.

We had exchanges this week with some sisters in Oceanside and it was my very first one as STL haha. Well I woke up the next morning and while I was getting ready for the day, my back started killing me out of nowhere and I couldn't move. I was in bed and I couldn't get up. So I took medicine and had an ice pack and a heat pack and then called the mission nurse. She told me to just keep doing the same thing I'd been doing and told me not to leave the bed. So my very first exchange I was in bed all day and I felt so bad because I was supposed to go out and work with Sister Waycott in her area and help her find ways to improve and see how she's doing in her area and we spent it inside. But I guess it happened for a reason. The next day it was still hurting in the morning and I was nervous because I was supposed to go to the temple that day with a less active from my first area who was going to the temple for the first time. Well miraculously an hour before I left, my back felt fine again. It was a miracle!!! So I got to go with Hermana Clawson and it was super fun. We ate at Cafe Rio after which was amazing because we don't have it in our mission boundaries. I had been waiting for this my whole mission! It was so yummy.

This week one of the sisters' grandma's passed away so that night we went over to their apartment and had root beer floats and just talked and it was really fun.

This week we also had my first MLC (Mission Leadership Council) where we talk about the mission and ways we can improve. We practiced our training we will be giving at zone conference and most importantly we get fed :) so that was fun and a good experience.

We had exchanges again on Saturday, so I was with sister Dalley. She is super fun! We were in my own area this time and we went to contact people at Moonlight Beach. There is a big sidewalk area so we didn't go on the sand obviously because we aren't allowed to. It was so pretty though. Her aunt and uncle and cousins actually live in my area so I texted them and asked if we could have dinner with them and we surprised them! It was so fun for her to see her family! (It is allowed because they live in my area just so you know).

So yeah it was a good week. Thanks so much for all your prayers, it helped me a lot this week. Love you all!!
