Smartphones

Hiiiiii! So another great week! Not a ton to report though I'm sorry.

We had a lesson with our investigator on Monday night last week and it was super funny. She is a super hard worker and works a lot to provide because she is a single mom. We were talking about the plan of Salvation and all of a sudden you just start to see her head bob up and down, and then she keeps falling asleep but then jerks awake and she just says "I'm sorry sisters can we meet another day? I am way too tired" It was kinda funny but i felt bad because she hardly sleeps!

The next day a member asked us to come over and give their dog a bath and to trim her nails. So we did and the dog smelt sooooo bad but it was fun haha. When we were trimming the nails, she was just yelping and crying and I felt so bad but we had to do it.

One of the Senior couples came up to Temecula and took my companion and I out for dinner. They are SO sweet and so much fun. They took us to a place called Goat and Vine and got some really good pizza.

So yes now I officially have a smartphone. We had a tech conference on Wednesday literally ALL day just training and stuff. Next zone conference we will start using Facebook......not really excited about that. It's been different but it also helps with missionary work a ton. So it's nice.

We picked up an investigator named Rogelio this week. He is the husband of a less active in our ward and he was raised Catholic so we will see how it goes. He is a very sweet and sincere man.

We went to a baptism for a young 17 year old girl in an english ward this week. The missionaries asked us to go because the mom does not speak english but then when we talked to her afterwards she wasn't interested! Oh well, at least we tried.

We got transfer calls this week and both me and my companion will be staying here in Temecula! Which is exactly what we wanted! So we are excited.

Our ward had a Valentine's dinner and dance! It was soooo much fun. But our bishop does not allow missionaries to dance (unlike when I was in San Marcos and the members begged us too), so that was a huge bummer. It was SO hard. But I have the rest of my life for that I guess. Our bishop is a really great man though. His family is my favorite here, they are so much fun.

Well that is pretty much it for this week! Love and miss you guys!
