2 New Investigators

Hi, how are you guys??

This week was awesome!! On Tuesday it was absolutely pouring outside and our district had a blitz planned (where all the missionaries go into one area and tract to try and get referrals for the missionaries who work in that area). So we were just walking out in the rain and no one let us in and I just kept laughing because we were soaked and I imagined if you all could see a live video of me you guys would be laughing at me. But anyway.

We found 2 new investigators named Tino and Aurora. It was really cool because they just kept saying how they wanted to read the Book of Mormon because it's the word of God. And Tino, the dad, said that he was going to tell his work that he can't work on Sundays anymore because "his religion doesn't let him" and we hadn't even talked about the Sabbath Day or anything! So that was a miracle. They are awesome. We also picked up a new investigator who is the son of a recent convert here. His name is Jeremy and he says he wants to get baptized and serve a mission just like us so that he can serve and help people like the missionaries have helped his mom and him. He's so cute!

We are teaching this little 9 year old boy named Ivan right now too. Well he's the son of some different investigators but we started teaching him separately because of the age difference and helping him understand better. He said he wanted to get baptized with his mom and grandma so now we have 3 investigators on date! It's amazing! Before coming to the area I seriously thought there was going to be no work here but the Lord has been blessing us so much!!

On Saturday my companion got to go to the temple with another hermana because they helped her get reactivated. So I was in Vista for the day and it was so much fun!! We got to help with the fire clean-up again! Then we had a lesson with their investigator. He's 14. At the beginning of the lesson he just says "I will never get baptized" and so I asked him why and he said it was because he will never know everything he needs to know. And so then I pulled up Mosiah 18 and read a couple of verses with him about baptism. Then he just looked at me and said that he would be baptized!! It was a miracle! The scriptures can seriously change someone's life. Too bad I won't be there for it though since it's in vista haha.

Well that was pretty much my week! I love you guys!!
