Thanksgiving

We had a good week!! so I'll apologize in advance. I don't have any pictures from thanksgiving. The lady whose house we went to took a picture and told me she would send it to me but then she didn't so I will have to ask her again for it.

 

 

But! Thanksgiving was really good!! We went to a white members house haha and it was really good. We ended up making the mashed potatoes, salad, rolls and I made a French silk pie! It was really good! It was kinda funny because we were just sitting there at the table and the mom just pulled up her shirt and started breastfeeding her child right in front of us without any blanket or anything so we were caught off guard haha. I thought that only happened in foreign countries! But I mean at least the elders weren't there haha. In the morning we got up and played sports with a group of missionaries so that was fun. OH MOM. You would have been so proud of me. The members were talking about how their dishwasher was broken during dinner. So after we ate I got up and washed all of the thanksgiving dishes by hand! It took a while but I actually kinda enjoyed it. my back hurt pretty bad afterwards but it's okay.

 

 

On Tuesday we get to go to the temple as a mission so I'm really excited! We have to get a ride from a member so I called one of my favorite families from San Marcos and so I get to see them tomorrow and their little girl is THE CUTEST. She's the one of the girls that would call me her best friend and run up to me every time she saw me. I love her. 

 

 

So the #lighttheworld initiative started this week and it is so nice as a missionary because it is so easy to start talking to people about that with Christmas coming up! I encourage you all to go watch it and actually participate in the 25 ways over 25 days!! 

 

 

I get to FaceTime you guys in less than a month!! I'm super excited!! 

 

 We got asked to help in Nursery this Sunday (best job ever) and so that is what the pictures are from haha I love you all!!
