Sick Again

Hey fammmm

 

Another great week in California! Last week I got to go to that lady's house that has a preschool in her house and I got to ask her a ton of questions and tour it and see how she does everything. It was super cool and got me really excited to do that when I'm back! She took us out to lunch and told me to keep her contact information so that when I'm starting my own I can call her and have her help me! Super cute lady. 

 

 

On Tuesday night we went to a members house for dinner who is extremely poor and their little apartment is just super sad. Anyway we had some chorizo and it made me super sick and I had to go home because I felt like I was going to die. I think it was food poisoning or something haha. 

 

 

One of the elders in my district got sent home this week which was really sad and hard. He broke his back when he was 11 and he has so many problems with it but tried to go out on his mission anyway. Well he kept falling over while proselyting and it was giving him so much pain and so he talked to the mission president and they sent him home within 2 days. He was really sad and it was hard for us having him leave but he is going to try and get surgery and then get back out. So that's a plus.

 

 

I woke up again super sick and coughing all night again. I feel like I can never get better!! My district makes fun of me because literally I sound like a man with my sick voice but there's nothing I can do lol. It's okay though. 

 

 

We went out to dinner with a member this week and he has the coolest job! He works with the military and he travels around to different bases and gets to pretend to be the enemy. So like marines while they are doing their training, he is the fake bad guy and he gets paid even while he's sleeping. Super cool. He gets all his travel paid for and then he gets to go sightsee and stuff wherever he is in his spare time!

 

 

We have a really cool brother of a member who is a non-member and his name is Lazaro. We are going to try teaching him soon and he seems really solid!

 

 Well that's kinda all for this week! I love you guys and thanks for all you do for me!! I have the coolest family in the world.
