District Blitz

Hiiiii!! I am seriously loving it here in California. 

 

 

This week was super good but also super interesting. My comp and I have started this new workout to keep off the tortillas lol and it's been killing. We are super sore every day. 

 

 

We went out to lunch with one of our less actives this week to Subway, and after we were waiting for our ride home and one of the workers came out and asked "you guys were just speaking perfect Spanish in there, what church are you from?" and then told us he wanted to come to our church because he was so impressed with our Spanish! So that was kinda cool. 

 

 

On Thursday we had the challenge to hand out as many Book of Mormons we could in a 2 hour period. I don't know how many we gave out but we were so sweaty and tired by the end haha. 

 

 

So our mission President is really nice and lets missionaries call home when their siblings get their mission calls. (ps. i want to do that when kyle gets his call). And so my companion got to call her brother and family while he opened his call! It was super sweet to hear them all and get excited for his call. It made me miss my family a lot but it's okay. 

 

 

We picked up these new investigators on Saturday and ended up being at their house for 4 hours because they just had so many questions! It was really cool.

 

 

We got a new bishopric this sunday which was really weird.

 

 

Last night we did a district blitz, which is where everyone from the district goes into one area and knocks on doors for an hour or so. This family let me and my companion in and we taught them the Plan of Salvation and it was super cool. So hopefully the elders teach them more. 

 

 

Anyway, I miss everyone so much and hope everyone has a great week!! Tell Jake good luck with his recovery!!
