Berna's Baptism

This week was awesome!! All my weeks are awesome though haha.

 

 

So this week we found a new investigator named Eladio and he's very interesting....haha.

 

 

For the 4th of July we had to be indoors at 6:30 so the STL's planned a party for all the missionaries. Tbh I felt like I was at a mutual activity the whole time but it was better than nothing haha.

 

 

The next day I got sick so I was in bed for about half of the day. There's a family here that is my favorite named the Lule's and she is suchhhh a good cook and the other day she told me that before I leave the area she's going to make me a recipe book! She's so cute and so nice!

 

 

Then on Friday night we had our baptism! It was all a secret because he doesn't like any extra attention. It was super cool though. I've been working with Berna since the beginning of my mission and I have wanted nothing more than to see him get baptized. And now finally after 2 years of investigating, he did it! Afterwards they gave him the Holy Ghost and it was just another witness to me of the priesthood. I know that the priesthood is the power of God. I never realized how cool it was before my mission.

 

 

On Saturday we had a ward party. I loveeee ward parties with this ward. They are all so much fun and it just feels like everyone is a big family! This little girl asked me if she could be my flower girl when I get married and that I need to have spaghetti and pizza at my wedding with a huge dance floor haha.
