Lots Of Miracles

Hey guys!!! So this week was good! We had a lot of meetings this week with our zone and meetings for the greenies. I was reading in Alma about Ammon this week and I was thinking of how we could serve people first, and then share the gospel with them. So this week my comp and I went service tracting. We got a bag with a bunch of cleaning supplies and went from house to house asking if we could do service for them. A lot of people said no but then we got to this ladies house and she let us in!! We cleaned her house with her and talked to her and her husband. They are hispanic which is even better! They themselves are catholic but they said they have a daughter that was looking for a church that wasn't catholic!! MIRACLE! They were super nice and are coming to the ward party we are planning. 

 

 

After we got home I was feeling pretty sick. Hermana Harker and I both had a cold so we stayed in while our companions went out together. I had the worst headache everrrrrr. I had to stay in bed for two days straight. We tried everything to help it get better but nothing was working. It lasted for about 5 days, the last 3 days I just had to tough it out and go work anyways because I didn't want to waste the Lord's time. I got a priesthood blessing which was amazing and I knew the words were from my Heavenly Father. 

 

 

My companion is soooo awesome. So one of our new investigators is struggling financially. She is a single mom and wasn't going to be able to pay her rent and then she was going to be evicted. She was really stressed as anyone could imagine. On the last day that she could pay it, my companion felt impressed to pay the rent. So that's what she did. $900 was what she owed and my companion paid it anonymously!!!! Keep in mind my companion has to pay for everything including her mission, so now she's going home from her mission with basically no money. I couldn't believe her. So Christ like. 

 

 

I hope everything is going well!!! I love and miss you all so much!! I love hearing about everyone and all they are doing. So happy for the boys and Megan. I hope Taylor and Jake go to Vegas rather than IL. 

 

 

Love you all!! I get to Skype in like 3 weeks!! So excited!!

I get fed by members. hispanics never actually eat with us though, they either make it and just watch us eat or they leave and go in the other room sometimes. kinda funny haha

 

 

Also another miracle from this week. My bike broke and so my comp and I spent all day trying to fix it and whatever but nothing was working. I was really stressed out because I have to have a bike but I didn't want to ask you guys for the money because dad doesn't have a job. So my comp was like "well let's just go to walmart and see what there is. 

When we got there she told me that she was planning to buy me one and she'd buy it whether i wanted her to or not. I was so grateful. The Lord is looking out for us.
