Stuck With Her Still

Hiiiii!!!! this week was awesome!! So kind of ironic. I was really excited to get a new companion and get a break from the old one but when I was assigned my first area, she's my new roommate:) how nice:) at least I don't have to be with her all day I guess. My trainer is awesome!!! She's super chill and we get along awesome along with the other roommate that's companions with my old one. I love California! It's so beautiful!! We are in a biking area so it's sooo hard especially up the big hills but i'll get stronger so i'll appreciate it later. I flash my garments to everyone all day because there's no way to avoid it on the bikes. I'm just hoping if someone will stop and ask about them and maybe I'll convert them! who knows lol. We have one investigator named Maria. She is awesome and is patient with my Spanish. Actually everyone is patient with my Spanish.  Im in San Marcos which is called "little Mexico" because there are so many Hispanics here! so ill get help with my Spanish. Yesterday at church me and my companion were walking to go get a tv for our lesson and there was a white guy in the lobby of the church wearing street clothes and was covered in tattoos. We went up to him and started talking and he opened right up. He was having a really hard time finding a job and he was really just mad at the world and came to the church because it's the only place he felt safe. I felt prompted to share "The Will of God" video with him. I started crying along with him and my companion. It was a really spiritual experience. He isn't Hispanic so we cant teach him, but we gave his information to the Elders and they are going to contact him! So exciting. We have another guy that we teach named Berna. He's awesome and I seriously love him so much! He's been investigating for almost a year and a half but wont get baptized but last night after our lesson he said he's considering setting a date!! Such cool guy.

 

 

The Mexican food is so yummy but so unhealthy so I'm probably going to gain weight after all. I eat super healthy at home though and maybe with the biking it will even out. My mission president is cool and always happy! This week was so much fun!! I miss you all so much!! Love you
