Warm Donuts

Okay this week was awesome!! We had TRC again and it is so fun getting to see real people from outside the wall! More of my friends left last week but next it's our turn! I'm so ready to get into the field! There is an Elder here that I guess has taken interest in me because he brings me warm donuts without me asking haha. He got in trouble for it by some teachers so he's been more distant lol. Here on fast sunday they don't feed us dinner and then breakfast so we don't have any energy. We had a fast and testimony meeting and it was awesome because everyone has to speak in spanish! My companion got up to bear her testimony and I thought it was going to be just a normal testimony. but then she started talking about how she knew that she was in this companionship for a reason. She started talking about how much of an influence I had on her. she said i was so positive all the time, how i didnt let what other people think affect me and how happy I am and she was going to strive to be like that in her life. I had been looking at the companionship in a selfish way the whole time. Always trying to figure out what was in it for me, but then I realized that's not how I should look at it. One of our branch presidencies families came and it was so weird to see kids. I miss kids sooo much. I can't wait to be in a ward with kids!! Relief Society is seriously the best on the mission. Our relief society has only 8 girls but the spirit is so strong every time. We all cry basically every Sunday because of the strong spirit.

This week during our service project we had to help out in the kitchen. The guy was demonstrating to us how to lay the chicken out on a pan and season it and he was doing it all with his dirty bare hands. Gross. That is just a glimpse of how unclean and sketchy the food is here. I love my district so much. I am going to miss them all so much when we leave!

I love and miss you all
